Pamela Dewar is a retired nurse and a talented singer who recently made headlines after marrying her partner, George Sanderson, at the age of 80. Originally from Wales, she has always had a passion for music, performing in church choirs and community groups throughout her life. After relocating to New Zealand, she worked at New World for 15 years, often singing to start her mornings. Dewar found love again at the Mary Shapley rest home, where she and Sanderson bonded over their shared love of music, leading to their wedding on January 28.
