Dex, a South Korean man in his early 30s, was lured to Cambodia under false pretenses of a lucrative job in stock investments, only to find himself trapped in a scam compound. Initially following orders as a 'chatter,' he became part of a network that defrauded victims through romance and investment scams. After realizing the gravity of his situation, he escaped and has since joined forces with victims to help bring the ringleaders to justice.
