Dganit Timor Ganshal

Dganit Timor Ganshal, a resident of Tzur Hadassah, is one of the six women recently ordained as rabbis at the Hebrew Union College. Her journey began in the religious Zionist community, where she faced barriers to leadership and a lack of acceptance in traditional frameworks. This propelled her to seek a spiritual path within the Reform movement, which she found to be more inclusive and aligned with her values. Ganshal holds a significant position as the Deputy Director of Operations and Community Relations at the Hebrew Union College and has dedicated her career to Jewish education and community engagement.
