Dharmadasa Hewage was a victim of a murder that took place in 2008, where he was fatally attacked with a sharp weapon during a dispute. This case has recently come into the spotlight as the Galle High Court sentenced the convicted perpetrator, Rohan Murukku Hewage, to death for his involvement in the crime.
