Diana Adamaite

Diana Adamaite is a Latvian painter known for her unique approach to abstraction and figurative art. She emerged in the contemporary art scene as part of the Našķu bumbas collective in 2007, where she demonstrated that painting still holds significant potential despite the rise of installations in the 1990s. Her artistic journey includes studying in Zurich and obtaining a master's degree from the Latvian Academy of Arts. Adamaite's recent exhibition at the Art Station Dubulti, titled 'Frequencies', showcases her exploration of surrealism and biomorphic abstraction, inviting viewers to engage with the fluidity and transformation of forms in her work.
