Diana Khrenenko

Diana Khrenenko was a 16-year-old schoolgirl from the village of Subottsi in the Kropyvnytskyi district of Ukraine. She tragically went missing on August 24, 2018, after leaving to celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day and was later found deceased six months later. Her case garnered significant media attention due to the nature of her disappearance and the subsequent investigation, which revealed that her remains were discovered in March 2019. The investigation led to the arrest of a suspect in Poland, and following a lengthy legal process, he was sentenced to life imprisonment for her murder, which was committed alongside other serious crimes.
