Diana Paulina Ramírez Villacís

Diana Paulina Ramírez Villacís has been recently appointed as the head of the Secretaría Nacional de Planificación (Senplades) in Ecuador, following a decree by President Daniel Noboa. With a background in engineering and political communication, she has extensive experience in public service, having held various roles in government, including positions in the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education. Ramírez is committed to establishing a participatory and efficient planning process aimed at long-term development, with her initial focus on implementing the National Development Plan for 2025-2029.
