Diego Gómez Sandoval

Diego Gómez Sandoval was a Spanish governor in the early 17th century, noted for his correspondence with the Spanish monarchy regarding the plight of indigenous peoples in the Americas. He is recognized for his efforts to document the conditions and rights of the remaining Taíno communities, including those in Boyá.
