Diego Pos

Diego Pos is a Surinamese-born writer, director, and producer based in Amsterdam, recognized for his significant contributions to the local community, particularly through his role as chairman of the Vrienden van het Westerpark. Born in Paramaribo and moving to the Netherlands at a young age, he studied cultural anthropology and film, eventually creating numerous dramatic productions and educational programs. Pos was honored with a royal decoration for his dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Amsterdam's Westerpark, which he believes thrives thanks to the involvement of active local residents.
