Dikos Vyzantios

Dikos Vyzantios was born in Paris in 1924, although some family members assert that he was actually born in Athens. He developed a love for painting from a young age, capturing scenes from his daily life and the experiences of those around him, particularly during World War II. His artistic career was marked by significant connections with influential figures such as sculptor Alberto Giacometti and philosopher Michel Foucault. Dikos returned to Greece in 1956, where he found inspiration in the landscapes of his childhood that profoundly influenced his artistic style.
