Dimitar Kratovski

Dimitar Kratovski is regarded as one of the most significant Macedonian writers of the 15th century. Born in the early 1400s in the town of Kratovo, he was an accomplished scholar who transcribed legal texts into Old Church Slavonic. His notable work includes a reformed version of the nomokanon, a collection of civil and ecclesiastical laws. Kratovski's contributions to literature and legal scholarship reflect the rich cultural heritage of Macedonia during the Ottoman period.
