Dimitra Patsy is a 40-year-old mother from Patras, Greece, who had a long career in the Greek Army before rediscovering her passion for mathematics. Following a poignant moment with her daughter, she decided to pursue her dream of studying mathematics, eventually earning a degree while working. She also participated in a data science bootcamp aimed at empowering women, which led her to a fulfilling teaching career in mathematics and further studies in computational and statistical analytics.
