Dimitris Vergos

Dimitris Vergos was in the news for being found unanimously guilty by the Appeals Court in Syros for the murder of Garyfallia Psarakou in July 2021 on the island of Folegandros. The court did not recognize any mitigating circumstances for his crime, concluding that he acted with calm intent rather than in a fit of rage, as his defense had argued.
