Dina Xo‘jayeva-Penson
Dina Xo‘jayeva-Penson was a pioneering Uzbek photographer born in 1932 in Tashkent, known as Uzbekistan's first female photojournalist. She began her career in the mid-1950s and became renowned for capturing the essence of Uzbekistan's life, particularly through her work in film and television. Her recent exhibition, 'Dublsiz fotosuratlar,' showcases over 100 of her works from the 1950s to the 1970s, reflecting the cultural and social landscape of Uzbekistan during that era. She passed away in 2024 at the age of 93.
