Dinis de Almeida was a major in the Portuguese Army known for his role during the revolutionary period in Portugal in the mid-1970s. He notably refused orders from Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho to divert additional weaponry, specifically three thousand G3 rifles, during a time of political upheaval marked by leftist revolutionary movements and armed conflict.
