Diocel Lancheros is the president of the National Pediatricians Union of Colombia (Sicolped) and has been actively raising awareness about the detrimental effects of the closure of pediatric and neonatal care units in Colombia, particularly during critical times when access to healthcare is vital for newborns and mothers.
