Diren is a resilient entrepreneur who, along with his wife Meri, transformed their restaurant 'Avlu' after the devastating earthquake in Hatay. Initially running a beloved bookstore and restaurant in Hatay, they faced the destruction of their establishment but relocated to Fındıklı, where they rebuilt their business, keeping the essence of Hatay's cuisine alive. Diren's passion for teamwork and community has been pivotal in creating a space that honors their roots while welcoming new flavors and experiences.
