Diyorbek Nishonov

Diyorbek Nishonov is the deputy director of the Automation Center for Electricity Accounting under the Regional Electric Networks Joint Stock Company in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Recently, he was in the news for announcing the implementation of a new practice that limits electricity payments for consumers with outstanding waste management debts. This initiative, which began sending warning SMS notifications to delinquent customers, aims to encourage timely payment and is part of a broader effort to improve payment discipline for household waste services in the country.
