Dmitry Kuchuk is a former leader of the now-dissolved political party 'Greens' in Belarus, which was liquidated in July 2023. He also served as the head of 'MS Zapadnaya,' a company focused on waste collection and processing. Kuchuk gained media attention following his arrest on February 16, 2023, near the Russian embassy while paying tribute to the late politician Alexei Navalny. Subsequently, he faced criminal charges for 'calls for sanctions' and 'participation in actions that grossly violate public order.' On December 22, 2023, he was sentenced to six years in a penal colony.
