Dmitry N. was initially acquitted of espionage charges alongside Andrei Rachkevich; however, the appellate court in Poznan has since overturned his acquittal, citing insufficient evaluation of evidence in the first trial and indicating that he acted in conjunction with Rachkevich in gathering intelligence on Polish defense forces.
