Dmitry Uss is a Belarusian entrepreneur who briefly entered the political arena as a presidential candidate in 2010 during a tumultuous election cycle. Despite struggling with health issues and limited public support, he garnered around 25,000 votes. Following the elections, he faced repression from the government, resulting in a sentence of five and a half years in prison, from which he was eventually pardoned. After his release, he returned to his business in the printing and mapping industry, with his son Ivan working alongside him.
