Dolores Moreira, known as Lola, is a distinguished sailor from Uruguay who has competed in the ILCA class since 2014. With a remarkable career that includes winning a Youth World Championship and securing medals at the Pan American and South American Games, Lola has also represented her country at three Olympic Games: Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024. After the Paris Olympics, she announced her retirement from ILCA and is transitioning to compete in the iQFOil category, a new and exciting form of windsurfing that debuted as an Olympic event in 2024.
