Doménica Mañay

Doménica Mañay is a 20-year-old evangelical missionary from Milagro, Ecuador. She, along with her fellow missionaries, engages in public prayers to share her faith in Guayaquil and surrounding areas. Recently, Mañay's image went viral as she was mistakenly associated with a wave of scopolamine-related thefts, a confusion that arose from her practice of approaching individuals with the question, '¿Puedo orar por usted?' ('Can I pray for you?'). Despite the distress caused by the misidentification, she remains committed to her mission of spreading hope and the word of God.
