Domenica Russo was a dedicated 43-year-old schoolteacher originally from Naples, who moved to Sesto Calende to inspire her students. Tragically, she lost her life in an accident while returning from a school trip with her pupils. Known for her passion for teaching and her love for her students, she was involved in a tragic bus accident on the Pedemontana highway. Domenica was seated at the front of the bus when it collided with a truck, resulting in her untimely death and leaving her students in shock as they were comforted by first responders.
