Dominic Okoli

Dr. Dominic Okoli is the Palace Secretary of the Lilu community in Anambra State, Nigeria. He has been vocal about the ongoing violence and insecurity in his community, particularly the imposition of burial levies by gunmen on grieving families. Okoli highlighted that between 2020 and 2025, over 25 people were killed and numerous homes destroyed due to the actions of these gunmen, which have turned Lilu into a dangerous environment.
