Dominique Marchand

Dominique Marchand is a French educational administrator who served as the president of the Centre national des œuvres universitaires et scolaires (Cnous) from 2018 to 2023. Appointed as the head of the inspection générale de l'éducation, du sport et de la recherche (IGESR) in February 2024, she brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles, including serving as an inspector general of the administration of national education and research since 2005 and as the director general of services at the University of Lyon-I. Marchand's leadership comes during a period of introspection and transition for the IGESR, following significant reforms in the French public service.
