Donna Thomas, 58, is a New Zealand resident who has been living with sarcoidosis, a rare inflammatory autoimmune condition, since her diagnosis in March 2022. Her journey began with respiratory issues after exposure to dust while gardening, leading to significant medical challenges including the removal of a lung lobe and ongoing treatment for refractory sarcoidosis.
