Donne Cameron

Donne Cameron is the Co-chief executive of VSO Kenya, a volunteer-involving international non-governmental organization. She is an advocate for community-led health promotion and the importance of empowering individuals and communities to take control of their own health. At the recent Regional Health Promotion Conference (RHPC) 2025, she emphasized the need for African countries to prioritize their own healthcare financing, moving away from reliance on donor funding, and called for transparency and accountability in healthcare spending to strengthen trust within the system.
