Donta Halmerich

Donta Halmerich (1900–1986) was a courageous teacher and translator from Berlin who, during the Holocaust, saved over 300 Jews by hiding them in her home and providing them with false documents. Recognized as a Righteous Among the Nations in 1986, her actions exemplified moral courage and the importance of standing against injustice.
