Dora Chamli

Dora Chamli is a prominent Tunisian padel player, born in 1996, who has risen to prominence as the number one female player in Tunisia. She gained recognition for being the first Tunisian to reach the main draw of a Premier Padel tournament. Chamli discovered her passion for padel while studying in Barcelona and has since become a pioneer for women's padel in Tunisia, often training with male players due to a lack of female competitors. Her dedication and hard work have propelled her into the top 140 players globally, according to the International Padel Federation (FIP). Notably, in October 2025, she made history by winning a match in the main draw of a Premier Padel tournament in Egypt, becoming the first African female player to achieve such a feat. Through a partnership with Ooredoo Tunisie, she aims to inspire young athletes, especially women, to pursue their sporting aspirations.
