Dorcus

Dorcus is the mother of Kenny, a child born with a cleft lip and palate in Rwanda. Initially struggling to accept her son's condition amidst societal stigma, she faced the challenge of protecting him from ridicule and isolation. With the support of Operation Smile, Dorcus witnessed a transformative surgery for Kenny, which not only changed his physical appearance but also altered their family's future, allowing her to embrace and proudly show her son to the world.
