Doris Nouel

Doris Nouel is a Dominican politician, diplomat, and communicator dedicated to advocating for women's rights and empowerment. As the president of the Asociación Mundial de Mujeres Periodistas y Escritoras (Ammpe World), she works tirelessly to create a safer and more equitable environment for women journalists and writers globally. With a career spanning over three decades, Nouel has also founded the 'Mujer y Juventud' movement, focused on promoting women's and youth rights, and combating gender-based violence in the Dominican Republic.
