Dorthe Dahl-Jensen

Dr. Dorthe Dahl-Jensen is a prominent glaciologist from Denmark, recognized for her extensive research on ice cores and climate change. She has spent much of her career at the University of Copenhagen’s Centre for Ice and Climate and is currently a professor at the University of Manitoba, where she leads significant research initiatives, including a $10-million Canada Excellence Research Chair. Dr. Dahl-Jensen is the expedition leader for the drilling project at the Müller Ice Cap, aiming to extract climate history spanning 10,000 to 20,000 years.
