Doug Copeland

Doug Copeland is the father of Misty Copeland, the first African American principal dancer of the American Ballet Theatre. His role in Misty's life, along with her mother Sylvia, contributed to the strong foundation that allowed her to pursue her passion for dance, overcoming numerous obstacles along the way.
