Douglas Baker

Douglas Baker is the founder and Chairman of Cintana Education, and he is also known for his role as the former CEO of Laureate Education. He has been influential in expanding the Laureate International Universities network, which is recognized as one of the largest networks of reputable universities worldwide, serving over a million students across more than 70 institutions. Recently, he was in the news for meeting with Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Stella Christie, to discuss the establishment of world-class universities in Indonesia.
