Dov Charney

Dov Charney is a Montreal-born entrepreneur best known for founding the American Apparel brand, which gained notoriety in the 2000s for its provocative advertising and sweatshop-free production ethos. His controversial leadership style and the eventual decline of the company led to his dismissal as CEO in 2014, but he has since launched a new venture, Los Angeles Apparel.
