Dr. Carey Wallace

Dr. Carey Wallace is the Executive Director of the Tourism Enhancement Fund in Jamaica, an organization dedicated to supporting the growth and development of the tourism sector in the country. Recently, he was in the news as part of the response to the impacts of Hurricane Melissa, which disrupted tourism operations and affected contract carriage drivers. In light of these challenges, he received appeals from the Jamaica Union of Travellers Association (JUTA) for financial assistance to help affected drivers recover from vehicle damage and loss of income stemming from the storm.
