Dr Gustavus Athol Waterhouse

A prominent entomologist and butterfly collector, Dr. Waterhouse was instrumental in the identification of new species in Australia, including the flame hairstreak, and was known for his extensive contributions to the field of entomology through his collections housed in the Australian Museum.
