Dr. Iman Al-Hashimi

Dr. Iman Al-Hashimi is a prominent figure in the field of autoimmune diseases and the founder and president of the Autoimmune Association in the UAE. She has been instrumental in raising awareness and providing support for individuals affected by autoimmune conditions, emphasizing the importance of education and community engagement in health. Under her leadership, the Autoimmune Association has become the first of its kind in the Arab world and the fourth globally, focusing on the care and advocacy for patients with autoimmune diseases. Recently, she was in the news for signing a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Journalists Association to enhance collaboration in health awareness and media support regarding autoimmune diseases.
