Dr. Michael Barnett

Dr. Michael Barnett is a senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Psychology and Social Work at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. He has made substantial contributions to the fields of Rastafari and Reggae through his research and writings, including various book chapters and journal articles. Dr. Barnett has been actively involved in the Peter Tosh Symposium programming since 2010, helping to honor the legacy of the legendary reggae musician.
