Dr Michael Curtis is a retired deputy State pathologist who provided postmortem conclusions in the case of Emer O’Loughlin. His findings indicated that the injuries sustained by O’Loughlin were consistent with deliberate violence by a third party, although he could not determine an anatomical cause of death due to the extensive damage to the remains.
