Dr Nicole Jenkins

Dr. Nicole Jenkins is a scientist at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health and the cofounder of FeBI Technologies. She has dedicated her research to understanding iron balance, particularly its impact on mental health disorders. After experiencing her own misdiagnosis related to iron deficiency, she is now leading efforts to develop a new blood test using nanodiamond-based quantum sensors that aims to accurately measure iron levels in patients, potentially transforming the diagnosis and treatment of iron disorders.
