Dr. Shabnam Salimi

Dr. Shabnam Salimi is a physician-scientist and acting instructor in the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at the University of Washington. She is one of the lead researchers behind the development of the Health Octo Tool, a new 'body clock' tool that calculates biological age and predicts the risk of disability and death, which aims to provide a more comprehensive assessment of health by focusing on overall wellness rather than individual diseases.
