Dr Wilbrod Slaa

Dr Wilbrod Slaa is a Tanzanian politician and a former Secretary General of the opposition party Chadema. He gained prominence as a vocal critic of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and was a presidential candidate in 2010. Slaa opposed Edward Lowassa's entry into Chadema in 2015, viewing it as a betrayal of the party's principles, which ultimately led to his resignation from the party and withdrawal from politics.
