Drita Tafa was a patient whose case has drawn significant attention due to concerns regarding the medical standards followed during her treatment. Following her death, a commission from the Slovenian Medical Chamber conducted an external review at the request of the Montenegrin Ministry of Health, revealing potential lapses in her care. This information has been presented to the Higher State Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
