Dror Angel

Dror Angel is a marine biologist and the director of the Recanati Institute for Marine Studies at the University of Haifa, as well as the CEO of the 'Jellyfish in the Community' organization. With decades of research on jellyfish, he has made significant contributions to understanding these gelatinous creatures, including their life cycles and ecological roles in marine environments. Recently, he was featured in an article discussing the unique Mediterranean jellyfish known as the 'Egg Yolk Jellyfish' (Cotylorhiza tuberculata), highlighting its distinctive appearance and ecological interactions.
