DSNS
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) is a governmental agency responsible for civil protection, emergency response, and disaster management in Ukraine. Recently, they were in the news for their efforts in combating the aftermath of a massive drone attack by Russian forces on Odesa, which resulted in significant fires and damage to civilian infrastructure. The DSNS deployed over 70 rescuers and 22 fire vehicles to extinguish the fires and assist in the recovery efforts, highlighting their critical role in managing emergency situations and ensuring public safety.
