Du Bandis is a Swedish pole vaulter who recently made headlines for breaking the world record with a jump of 6.28 meters. Despite facing challenges during the competition, including a failure to clear 6.11 meters initially, he persevered and achieved his record-breaking feat, marking it as his 13th world record since 2020. Du credited his success to the unique air conditions on the day of the event and humorously attributed part of his performance to a delicious Hungarian beef soup he had before the competition.
