Dumitru Sîli

Colonel Dumitru Sîli is the head of the Moldovan Peacekeeping Forces contingent in the Transnistria region. He previously served in the UNMIL mission in Liberia from 2004 to 2005, where he became one of the first Moldovan soldiers deployed to Africa. Sîli has expressed that the challenges faced in Africa remain consistent over time, reflecting a deep understanding of international military operations and peacekeeping efforts.
