Durga Prasad Prasai, known as 'Janak Commander', is a prominent leader of the royalist movement in Nepal. Recently, he has been in the news due to his involvement in a violent demonstration in the Three Kune area, which resulted in injuries and fatalities. Following the incident, he fled to India but was apprehended by the police two weeks later.
